Finally another instalment in my series "Fantasy fruit"! This shot has been brewing in my mind for a few months before I finally shot it this weekend. I wasn't sure if it was possible to do this with a pineapple, but it seems it is actually possible to float one... A problem I had with this shot was quite unexpected: because our house is so clean, it was very hard to get the fantasy look on this photo. (at this point all doors and windows had been open for three consecutive days, leaving no dust) So I actually had to collect dust from under the couch to spread in my hallway and then run to my camera to shoot before it rejoined the ground :) Strobist info Canon 430EXII @ 1/8 (28mm) through Westcott white umbrella
Canon 580EXII @ 1/8 (105mm) gridded with a Honl grid
Cactus V4 (failing more and more nowadays) to trigger the flashes
