We were inside the livingroom with closed curtain and totally didn't see all snow coming. There was a lot of snowfall this evening. The snow outside combined with our cool little electric Christmas tree inspired me to make the set for this photo. At first real snow crossed my mind, but unfortunately snow (water) and electricity don't play nice together. The same can be said for snow and heat (from the Christmas lights). Furthermore the cold outside was not a very nice prospect :) All these reasons made me go for an indoors setup, including a lot of plastic and a lot of flour to act as snow. I really enjoyed developing the set, lighting and making this photo! Strobist info
